hi travellers, forget about saving money in hongkong, its not possible. anyway, while you are there try to find a restaurant called tha beiking duck, i think it is in kowloon not on the main island. the best duck you will ever eat and they make the noodles fresh at your table-amazing stuff. for shopping you can go to saikung market (not sure about the spelling) amazing seafood restaurant with aquariums in front from which you choose your fresh fish. bon apetito and love – dad

Thanks for the tip, but ever-so-sadly we have now arrived in Manila and Hong Kong is behind us. Nonetheless we managed to have a good time and good food! Lots of Love xx
